Non-Destructive Scanning
Utilizing the Minolta PS7000 we can scan books and ledgers up to 23in. x 17in. in the "Open Face" position. This eliminates the strain or damage to the spline and binding. Although scanning a single page at a time is slow, the preservation of some old and original books is worth the extra cost.
Scanning can be any resolution desired and either B/W or grayscale for drawings or pictures.

Removal and Replacement of Cover and Binding
PAPER 2 DIGITAL DISK
This entails Professionaly removing the Cover and Binding in one piece, cutting the bound edge approximatly 1/16 of an inch, scanning the pages using a hi-speed scanner. The book is then restored to "Like New" condition with cover and binding replaced. Sometimes the restored book is even better then when we received it.
This faster method of scanning books results in lower cost and usually is the preferred method when budget is a main concideration.
